ALT Laser Hole Drilling produces distortion-free and stress-free holes as small as 0.010 inch (254 micrometres, µm) diameter with ±0.0005 inch (12.7µm) tolerances and exact repeatability, depending upon the material, thickness and configuration. Specialising in producing critical parts, ALT can provide air flow testing with an accuracy of 0.33% of reading and 0.25% repeatability within ±2 standard deviations.
ALT Laser Hole Drilling is suitable for nickel alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, 6061 aluminium and similar materials. The company is approved by General Electric for laser cutting/drilling and airflow per P17TF2, P1TF78, P1TF10, ANSI-Z136.1, S-422 and E50TF217 and A, is S9100 Revision C certified, National Aerospace and Defence Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) approved for laser cutting/drilling (Merit Supplier Status).
