SPIE Photonics West 2014 will take place on 1-6 February at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco, California (US). This conference expects 20,000 attendees, two exhibitions and 1300 exhibiting companies.
The 2014 program will include: 4500+ papers on biophotonics and translational research, industrial lasers, optoelectronics, micro-fabrication, optical micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and micro-opto-electro-mechanical systems (MOEMS), green photonics and more; 18+ plenary presentations; the Photonics West Exhibition (4-6 February), which had 1234 companies in 2013 and the BiOS exposition (1-2 February), which is a biomedical optics and biophotonics exhibition.
The 2014 program also includes: industry panels (where you can hear industry leaders discuss market trends and lessons learned); industry events, such as Job Fair, Start-Up Challenge and Prism Awards; 50+ special events, such as poster sessions, panel discussions, workshops, forums, welcome reception and student events; and 70+ courses and workshops.
If you would like to present a paper, please submit your abstract on the conference website by 22 July 2013. Submission guidelines can be found on the site as well. If your paper is accepted, you’ll have access to: immediate feedback from your peers, the latest technologies and advances, a variety of networking opportunities and interesting technical discussions. In addition, your research will be published in SPIE Proceedings and the SPIE Digital Library, becoming part of the SPIE’s collection of optics and photonics research papers.
