JAI A/S will showcase a broad selection of its latest industrial camera technologies at Automatica 2025, taking place from June 24th to 27th in Munich. The exhibit will include JAI’s specialized prism-based multi-sensor area scan and line scan cameras, as well as a variety of compact and high-resolution single-sensor models.
Introducing new 2K, 4K, and 16K Line Scan Cameras
Among the highlights are JAI’s newly developed compact 2K and 4K line scan cameras, which support high-speed 5GigE Vision and CoaXPress interfaces. The 2K models are available in both trilinear color and monochrome configurations, while the 4K models are offered in bilinear color and monochrome versions. Also featured will be new 16K resolution line scan cameras, offered with trilinear color and monochrome sensors. These cameras incorporate a 4 x CXP-12 interface, making them well-suited for high-speed manufacturing applications that require precise inspection of fine details.
Solutions for Advanced Color and Multispectral Imaging
JAI will also present select models from its Sweep+ Series and Apex Series, designed with multi-sensor prism technology. These area scan and line scan cameras utilize three CMOS sensors to capture individual red, green, and blue (R-G-B) channels, delivering exceptional color image quality.
In addition, JAI will display multispectral imaging solutions from the Sweep+ Series (line scan) and Fusion Series (area scan) featuring 3-CMOS and 4-CMOS sensor designs. These cameras simultaneously capture visible color and near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths, enabling comprehensive inspection for demanding applications.
The latest addition to the Sweep+ Series includes a prism-based camera that simultaneously captures R-G-B and shortwave infrared (SWIR) images using a combination of three CMOS sensors and one InGaAs sensor, enhancing capability for specialized inspection tasks.
Compact and High-Resolution Area Scan Cameras
Visitors will also find a selection of JAI’s single-sensor area scan cameras, including models from the GoX Series, which offer compact form factors and resolutions ranging from 2 to 24 megapixels. The exhibit will also feature high-performance models from the Spark Series, combining resolutions up to 45 megapixels with high frame rates—ideal for applications requiring both high resolution and high frame rates.
