The Association for Advancing Automation (A3) announced that Aamir Paul, president of North America operations at Schneider Electric, will deliver a keynote address titled “Redefining Industry: A Bold New Era for American Manufacturing and the Opportunities It Creates for the American Workforce” at Automate 2025 on Wednesday, May 14, at 9 a.m.
Paul will explore how cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence, automation, digitalization and sustainable infrastructure are igniting a massive transformation in the industrial space—one that is not only reshaping how things are made but also the people and skills behind them. He will also talk about how shifts in advanced robotics, intelligent systems and scalable operations are creating new opportunities in manufacturing.
“Aamir brings a bold, forward-thinking perspective on the future of American industry,” said Jeff Burnstein, president of A3. “His leadership at Schneider Electric and deep understanding of the impact of innovation—from digitization to workforce transformation—makes him a key voice for this new era in the industrial space.”
“As we look back at the technological innovation over the past century, it is clear that the industrial revolution we are witnessing now is unprecedented in terms of momentum and scale,” said Aamir Paul, president of North America operations at Schneider Electric. “We’re at a moment where industry must reimagine and redefine what is possible by leveraging digitalization and open, software-defined automation.”
Paul joins a powerhouse keynote lineup that includes Brad Holmes, executive vice president and general manager of the Detroit Lions, and Deepu Talla, vice president of robotics and edge computing at NVIDIA. Together, these dynamic speakers will offer Automate attendees a compelling mix of insights on organizational leadership, AI and industrial innovation.
