The business unit Technical Glass of the Berliner Glas Group is represented for the first time with its portfolio for industrial applications at “all about automation” in Friedrickshafen, Germany, in Hall B2, Stand 524.
Glass touch assemblies, display glass and structured cover panels for display elements or instrument covers can be found in all markets where glass is used as a versatile hightech material. Various components and systems will be presented on March 4th and 5th 2020 in Friedrichshafen.
Exhibition visitors have the opportunity to discuss the latest product developments on site with the experts from Berliner Glas Technical Glass. The Technical Glass division of the Berliner Glas Group is specialized in processing of technical glass.
The company gives flat glasses individual shapes and refines them according to customer needs. Glass is etched, coated, printed, CNC machined, laminated and hardened. The company excels above all in the combination of these finishing techniques. This allows Berliner Glas Technical Glass to produce glass that combines different functions - depending on customer requirements and application. Glass is a valuable high-tech material also in industrial automation.
Transparent, easy to clean, hard and robust
This is just a small selection of features that distinguish glass surfaces. In combination with foils or electronic switching and touch elements, the range of functions is significantly expanded, e.g. for safety glasses or touch controls. Anti-reflective and optimized for touch applications, Berliner Glas gives the surface a pleasant feel, and the visibility of fingerprints and similar contaminants is reduced, which is ideal for touch applications in the manufacturing industry Further information on the solutions of Berliner Glas for industry automation is available at the booth as well as at the lecture by Mr. Fabian Schmidt with the title: "Surface structuring for touch applications” on Wednesday, March 4th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Talk Lounge B2/Booth B2-540.
