Hamamatsu Photonics introduces the new S13488 CMOS linear image sensor, featuring electronic shutter and gain switching functionalities as well as high sensitivity in the red, green and blue wavelength ranges of visible light.
The S13488 features a sensitivity range of 400–1000 nm and a 10 MHz maximum video data rate and built-in timing generator, allowing operation with only start and clock pulse.
With these features, the sensor is designed for image reading and various color detection applications.
