Hoya Group’s Vision Care Division, a global specialist in ophthalmic lenses, announces the start of Hoya Lens Romania. Hoya has been doing business in Romania via a local distributor since September 1999.
In order to better service and develop the local optical market Hoya decided to establish its own subsidiary in Romania. With its proximity to Hoya’s Rx laboratory, Hoya Lens Manufacturing Hungary Mátészalka, the company sees great opportunity for expanding its business in the Romanian market.
Adrian Badiu is the general manager of Hoya Lens Romania and Hans Werquin is the chief executive officer of Hoya Vision Care Europe.
