LUCID Vision Labs, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of unique and innovative industrial vision cameras, today announced the availability of new Atlas 5GigE IP67-rated cameras.
The latest Atlas models feature a range of Sony Pregius global shutter CMOS image sensors over a 5GBASE-T interface. These include the 2.8 MP Sony IMX421 sensor with a pixel size of 4.5 µm running at a frame rate of 173 fps, as well as the 8.9 MP IMX255 sensor at 58.5 fps, and the 12.3 MP IMX253 at 42.5 fps offering a 3.45 µm pixel size.
The Atlas Factory Tough camera line is designed for industrial applications requiring high bandwidth and high resolution in a robust IP67-rated housing. It features Active Sensor Alignment for superior optical performance, a compact 60 x 60 mm size, M12 Ethernet and M8 general purpose I/O connectors for a robust connection resistant to shock and vibration, industrial EMC immunity and a wide ambient temperature range of -20°C to 55°C. The Atlas IP67 models feature C-mount lenses and are compatible with the standard IP67 lens tubes from the Triton cameras.
“We’re pleased to expand our Atlas 5GigE camera family with a wide range of Sony Pregius image sensors enabling high-quality image capture, high resolution and high-speed imaging without distortion,” says Rod Barman, President at LUCID Vision Labs. “The new Atlas models offer IP67 protection to operate in challenging environments, making them ideal for factory automation, agriculture, process control, food and beverage inspection and scientific applications.”
The 5GBASE-T Atlas is a GigE Vision and GenICam compliant camera capable of 600 MB per second data transfer rates (5Gbps) and allows the use of standard CAT5e and CAT6 cables up to 100 meters. Atlas features Power over Ethernet (PoE) that simplifies integration and reduces cost.
All LUCID cameras conform to the GigE Vision 2.0 and GenICam3 standards and are supported by LUCID’s own Arena software development kit. The Arena SDK provides customers with easy access to the latest industry standards and software technology. The SDK supports Windows, Linux 64bit and Linux ARM operating systems, and C, C++, C# and Python programming languages.
These new Atlas ATP028S, ATP089S and ATP120S models are now available to order.
