MultiPix Imaging announced the launch of the 3D Pro Laser and 3D Pro Laser Mini product lines designed for machine vision by ProPhotonex. Recognising the market demand for drop-in replacements of existing solutions, ProPhotonix offers a family of 3D Pro structured laser light modules designed with a compact, cylindrical form factor for integration into existing systems.
The 3D Pro Laser has a 19 millimetre (mm) diameter compatible with the majority of existing machine vision systems enabling hassle-free replacement of existing laser solutions. ProPhotonix also offers a compact 10mm diameter 3D Pro Laser Mini for applications where space is at a premium. Both laser types will be available either as a customer-specified fixed focus module or with an externally adjustable focus for users who need flexibility. 3D Pro Lasers offer uniformity with line widths from 30 micrometres (μm) to 120μm. 3D Pro modules are available with output powers from 1 milliwatt (mW) to 150mW, fan angles between 10° and 90° and wavelengths throughout the 450 nanometre (nm) to 910nm spectral ranges, including 635nm and 660nm. Electronic options include intensity control, strobe mode and various analogue and digital modulation configurations. Optically, ProPhotonix offers a range of diffractive optics including spot, line, multiline and grid.
