Opto Diode SXUVPS4C Quadrant Photodiode

Opto Diode, a division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), and a member of the ITW Photonics Group, announces the SXUVPS4C, a quadrant photodiode with a 5 square millimetre (mm2) active area in each quadrant. The new device is the first of two new SXUV multi-element photodiodes to be introduced.

The TO-5 windowless package features a 5-pin header, making it easy to integrate into new or existing systems. With light responsivity from 1 nanometre (nm) to 1000nm and a shunt resistance of 100 Mohms, the new quadrant photodiode is suitable for 2-axes-positional-centering applications for lasers in the 13.5nm to 200nm wavelength range. The proven stability over time and high power, short wavelength applications ensure stable responsivity for years for the typical application.

Operating and storage temperatures range from -10°C to +40°C (from +14°F to +104°F) ambient and from -20°C to +80°C (from -4°F to +176°F) in nitrogen or vacuum conditions. The maximum junction temperature is 70°C (158°F) and the lead-soldering temperature is 260°C (500°F) at 0.080 inch (0.20 centimetres [cm]) from the case for 10 seconds.

Opto Diode’s new SXUVPS4C quadrant photodiodes are available for shipping now.
