EnvisionTEC, a manufacturer and distributor of 3D printers, will demonstrate its Perfactory Micro in the booths of two of its technology partners, Texas Instruments (TI; booth 1331) and Luminus Devices (booth 4116), at the Photonics West 2013 exhibition on 5-7 February at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco, California (US). EnvisionTEC makes 3D printers for multiple industries using projection technology from Texas Instruments and light-emitting diode (LED) technology from Luminus Devices.

The Perfactory Micro is a small desktop 3D printer with high resolution. It offers ease of maintenance and operation at a value price point and was engineered to produce the high-quality models demanded by design professionals. Using Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology from Texas Instruments coupled with LED performance, the Perfactory Micro creates highly detailed 3D representations of computer-aided design (CAD) or scan data. The LEDs help reduce power consumption, as well as the amount of hazardous waste entering the environment, and their long lifetime translates into cost savings for Perfactory Micro 3D printer owners.
