Trioptics GmbH announces the ImageMaster Pro 9, a modulation transfer function (MTF) measurement system for qualifying mobile phone lenses and other miniature objectives. It is the result of various improvements of the ImageMaster Pro 5 and enables customers to dramatically increase their yield.
Faster MTF algorithms reduce the test cycle time to 1.5 seconds per sample so that 3.5 times higher throughput than the ImageMaster Pro 5 is achieved. The accuracy of 1% MTF on-axis and 2% MTF off-axis combined with the automated tilt correction of the sample leads to a good yield. With a spatial frequency of 600 line pairs per millimetre (lp/mm) and up to 49 measurement points in 25 field positions, the ImageMaster Pro 9 is ready for high-resolution megapixel cameras.
