Vision Open Door 5

ADL Embedded Solutions Inc., a provider of high-performance embedded solutions, will be showcasing its latest embedded products and solutions at this year’s Embedded World.

ADL Embedded Solutions will debut its compact ADLVIS-1700 CoaXPress/Camera Link Vision System. The ADLVIS-1700 is the smallest CoaXPress vision system in the industry (HWD = 5” x 7” x 7.6”). The integrated CoaXPress board is the first PCIe/104 form factor CoaXPress framegrabber with a mere 95mm x 96mm footprint with support PoCXP (power over CoaXPress) up to 100m. With 1200 MB/s camera transfer speed in a small form factor vision system, the ADLVIS-1700 helps address the need for high-performance image capture and storage in a variety of industries such as 3D machine vision, hyperspectral and multi-spectral imaging, traffic engineering, unmanned drone vision payload computing, and more. To date, comparable CoaXPress  speed and resolution has only been available on desktop PCs and workstations.  The ADLVIS-1700 also incorporates four removable SATA drives to accommodate the storage needs of this new technology.

ADL Embedded Solutions Inc. will also showcase its successor to ADL’s popular ADLMES8200 rugged chassis, the ADLMES9200. The ADLMES9200 is now IP67-rated with lower weight, lower cost and more reliable EMC-compliant gasket interfaces for robust military and rugged industrial applications. The IP67 rating allows this rugged chassis to survive both water jets and underwater submersion up to three feet for 30 minutes at a time. The lower weight will decrease fuel and battery costs while for mobile or unmanned applications such as drones, this means the drone or unmanned vehicle can stay operational for longer periods of time. Designed to survive MIL-STD 810 rugged environments the ADLMES9200 targets not only military and defense applications but also rugged industrial uses like oil and gas, mining, construction, and transportation.

ADL will also offer an early look at its latest Intel Core 3.5” SBC, ADLQ170HDS, based on 6th generation Intel technology.  Please stop by ADL’s booth at Embedded World to see our working demonstration. With hardware level TPM 2.0 encryption technology, 32GB memory capacity, 4x SATA 6GB/s and 4x USB 3.0, the ADLQ170HDS will combine stunning computational performance and virtualization capabilities with secure data features and high-speed storage.

To see what’s new in embedded technology, visit ADL Embedded Solutions booth (#1-554, Hall 1) at the Embedded World Exposition & Conference in Nuremberg, Germany on 14 to 16 March, 2017.
