Excelitas’ self-contained SPCM modules combine more than 30 years of photon counting design and engineering expertise to meet the low-light-level detection demands of confocal microscopy, fluorescence, luminescence, TCSPC, particle sizing and quantum communications. As the first company to introduce SPCMs using silicon avalanche photodiodes (Si-APDs), Excelitas photon counting technology provides high photon detection efficiency (PDE), low after pulsing, unmatched uniformity over a large active area, high linear dynamic range and low dark counts.
