Adept Technology, Inc., a provider of intelligent robots and autonomous mobile solutions and services, today announced that Glenn Hewson has been named its senior vice president of global marketing. He will lead the company’s product management, product marketing and marketing teams on a worldwide basis.
As a seasoned technology industry executive, Hewson brings to Adept more than 25 years of product line and marketing experience as well as a track record of building high-performance teams. Most recently, he served as vice president of global marketing for Avure Technologies, where he reinvigorated the marketing process, introduced new products that became significant revenue contributors and partnered with the sales team to grow operations worldwide. He has a strong foundation from IBM and previous to Avure, served in leadership roles at several Gores Group portfolio companies.
