Grauling Research, Inc. announces the ISO 9001:2015 / AS9100D certification by TUV USA, Inc., a company accredited under the Aerospace Registration Management Program.
Grauling Research is a U.S.- based research company and a global supplier of coating materials, consumables, and equipment support for thin-film coating manufacturers, industrial equipment, and semiconductor industries.
The highly regarded certification is for the provision of support and services for the thin film industry, including engineering, equipment, R&D, and coating materials for evaporation and sputtering. The company’s assessment was performed by TUV USA, Inc., in accordance with AS9104/1:2012 and issued July 27, 2021.
ISO 9001 is the world’s most recognized quality management system standard and 9001:2015 is the most current version. AS9100D is the international quality management system standard for the Aviation, Space and Defense (AS&D) industry. TUV USA’s website notes that the objective for AS9100 certification is “to achieve more consistent quality and less waste within the entire value added chain through the use of a quality management system which is structured and operated according to AS9100 et seq. The process and quality achieved by means of systematic procedures secures the lasting trust of your customers.”
According to Grauling Research president and founder, David W.
