The strategic merger of the two optical technology manufacturers expands the print segment at Isra Vision and strengthens Karlsruhe, Germany-based Vision Experts market position. The two product ranges will be merged and the joint range sold via the Darmstadt, Germany-based company's global network. Isra Vision is a company for industrial image processing (machine vision) and a specialist in surface inspection of web materials and 3D machine vision applications. Its services are offered at more than 25 sites worldwide.
Isra's combination of solutions for print inspection includes the PrintSTAR, ViewSTAR and ColorSTAR sensors for 100% all-over inspection and spectral color measurement. PrintSTAR enables in-line quality assurance and process monitoring of printed products of all web widths. ViewSTAR is used for web viewing with the highest image resolution at high web speeds, while ColorSTAR allows in-line color measurement.
Together with Vision Experts’ products, which focus on the inspection of metal and pharmaceutical packaging printing, this produces a portfolio for monitoring of many different print applications. The technologies and process approaches complement one another, so that customers benefit from print inspection applications from one source. The final touch to the new range is a digital key solution for increasing profit. EPROMI (Enterprise PROduction Management Intelligence) combines various production and quality data, making it possible to generate user-specific reports and analyses.
