Excelitas Technologies Corp, a global technology leader focused on delivering innovative, customized photonic solutions, announced several new available wavelengths for the iFLEX-iRIS Laser Series. Among the updates is the new 505nm wavelength that works with popular fluorescence dyes as a cost-effective replacement for argon (gas) lasers at 488/515nm.
The iFLEX-iRIS is now available in solid state wavelengths 505nm, 532nm, 561nm and 594nm. These lasers are ideal for applications such as flow cytometry, microscopy, imaging, dynamic light scattering, research or industry, biotech and semiconductor metrology. All iFLEX-iRIS lasers operate in automatic power control mode using an internal feedback loop that offers highly stable output power and performance throughout the product lifetime.
The lasers are mode-hop free and wavelength stabilized as a result of active temperature control. To ensure optimum performance is maintained throughout the product lifetime, the iFLEX-iRIS laser design is robustly tested to Telcordia specifications. They also deliver low amplitude noise in a miniaturized package and are ideally suited for integration into instruments that demand high performance yet need to retain a small form factor.
The iFLEX-iRIS Laser Series will be showcased at Laser World of Photonics, Hall B1, Stand 103.
