II-VI Optical Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of II-VI Incorporated and vertically integrated producer of high-precision imaging and laser assemblies, has announced that its sister company, VLOC, will become part of II-VI Optical Systems.
The fusion combines VLOC’s laser material knowledge and Florida-based growth facility with engineering design, fabrication, coating and assembly operations in California, enabling the company to design and deliver custom laser and nonlinear optical solutions to the defense, space, medical and commercial industries.
The expanded capabilities allow II-VI Optical Systems solutions to cover the entire spectrum from the UV through long-wave IR regime.
II-VI Optical Systems will be at booth #2323 at Photonics West 2015.
