Baumer VeriSens XF Series

Since the first quarter of 2014, the Baumer VeriSens vision sensors have come with the latest version 2.4 software of the VeriSens Application Suite. This first configurable web interface for vision sensors by Baumer is simplifying the creation of human-machine interfaces (HMIs). Software update 2.4 provides a further enhanced user interface for more convenient touch operation. Enlarged buttons and short information texts on the related feature checks support the user who often is confronted with small-sized operating panels. Now, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) can even configure the VeriSens web interface to match the customer’s corporate identity specifications, such as corporate colors and logos.

According to the company, the easy-to-operate web interface can be configured within a few minutes and will also enhance performance in conjunction with older generation browsers. Now, there is more to some selected feature checks. The new, high-performance pattern comparison is intuitive and opens new application potential in packaging control. Enhanced backup and restore functionalities allow utilising the file transfer protocol (FTP) server not only for defect images but also for backup. A software update will upgrade all VeriSens models of the XF, XC ID and CS series which are already used in the field with the new feature package.
