InnoLas has reorganised its business such that the photovoltaic business unit – previously operated as part of InnoLas Systems GmbH – now becomes a new organization: InnoLas Solutions GmbH.
InnoLas has positioned itself as a technology leader in the photovoltaic industry with installed laser systems for a production capacity of +1.5 GW/year. The laser processes are developed in the in-house application lab and scaled to industrial systems with proven German quality, which guarantee high throughput and reliable operation.
In the solar industry, efficiency and throughput have become the crucial differentiators. The ILS laser machines from InnoLas Solutions are designed for advanced laser processes like PERC (Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell), Selective Emitter Doping, or Laser Contact Opening, as these technologies significantly increase the efficiency of standard solar-cells.
In the field of thin-film solar the laser systems of the IMPALA laser systems series offer high precision laser scribing that significantly reduces a module’s “dead area”, again leading to increased efficiency.
InnoLas Solutions GmbH produces laser systems for micro material processing, particularly in the photovoltaic industry, as well as for the semiconductor industry, electronics and precision engineering. InnoLas Solutions designs and manufactures machinery solutions as stand-alone systems or for inline integration.
