Äpre Instruments, a specialist in interferometry for research, quality control and high volume production, has introduced the new S100 | HR high-performance laser Fizeau interferometer for optical manufacturing.
The new system offers the affordability of a classic continuous zoom interferometer with the performance of a modern imaging system. It is designed for optics professionals requiring accurate metrology of highly sloped surfaces and fine resolution of mid-spatial frequencies.
Using ÄPRE’s Reveal software, the S100 | HR can provide custom reports in as few as six seconds. The system runs on any 64-bit Windows OS, 64-bit power that supports 4-megapixel acquisition and analysis.

- Better than λ/20 accuracy, even at 8 fringes/mm slopes
