Laser Components announced the agreement of a new distribution contract with iC-Haus GmbH for the supply of their entire product range within the UK and the Republic of Ireland. There are many synergies between our companies, with both iC-Haus and Laser Components being family-owned German based optoelectronic device manufacturers with many complementary products.
iC-Haus has been active in the design and production of application-specific ICs for industrial, automotive, and medical technology since 1984. They offer a wide selection of laser diode driver ICs for all types of CW and pulsed semiconductor laser diodes. These ICs provide fast switching, avoid overshooting by patented circuits, and feature various monitoring safety functions. We will work closely with iC-Haus to assist in the design-in of appropriate laser drivers alongside our laser diode products. In addition to their laser diode drivers, we are also authorised to distribute all other iC-Haus products including sensor ICs, encoder ICs, safety light curtain ICs and customised ASiC semiconductor solutions.
